Stage 4 = GFR 15–29, Stage 5 = GFR <15 ml/min/1.73 m2. The glomerular filtration rate was estimated using the modified MDRD formula [1]. † LNC: seen by a nephrologist for more than 6 months; SNC: seen by a nephrologist for 6 months or less. Data for LNC and SNC were compared using Chi Square Analysis. Only p-values < 0.05 are shown.
