Model 2 was adjusted for all variables in Model 1 plus education, current smoking, body mass index, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular disease history, use of nephrotoxic medication, rural or urban residents, high triglycerides, high LDL cholesterol. Model 3 was adjusted for all variables in Model 2 plus eGFR or ACR categories, as appropriate
