Lipid is deposited in glomerular mesangial cells under iomeprol stimulation. Rat glomerular mesangial cells were cultured in Minimum Essential Medium supplemented with 10% FBS and then treated without (Ctrl) or with iomeprol (CM, 50 μl/ml) for 1 h. a Oil Red and Sudan Black staining shows lipid accumulation in mesangial cells from Ctrl and CM groups. b Immunofluorescence staining presents CD36 and ABCA1 protein expression in Ctrl and CM groups.
