TC exit-site infection

 • Purulent discharge from the exit-site

Or

 • Other local signs: redness or pain at the exit-site or along the subcutaneous tunnel (tunnellitis)

And at least one of the following criteria

 - Fever (> 38.2 °C)

Or

 - Positive blood culture drawn from one of the two lumens of the TC following aspiration of the lock

Or

 - Polymorphonuclear leucocytosis

In the absence of criterion for TC-related bloodstream infection
