Survival curves for patients with chronic kidney disease according to BMI group. Among 2648 patients with CKD, 114 patients died and 308 patients progressed to ESKD. Kaplan-Meier survival curves showed that the survival risk was significantly associated with the lower BMI group (log-rank χ2 = 15.5, P = 0.0014), but the incidence of ESKD did not differ between the defined BMI groups
