Clinical course and renal parameters during follow-up in the hospital. Serum creatinine, serum albumin, urinary protein and urinary sediment were recorded. Nephrotic syndrome deteriorated rapidly, resulting in acute kidney failure on the 10th day after admission. After induction therapy with high dose prednisolone (1 mg/kg/day) and 1 g per day of mycophenolate mofetil, the amount of urinary protein reduced dramatically and renal function recovered
