  1. The baseline model included age, sex, ethnicity, pre-dialysis weight, residual urea clearance > 1 ml/min, Charlson Comorbidity Index, serum albumin, and elevated CRP (>5 mg/l). Log BNP was a significant determinant of survival in this model unlike Log pre-dialysis ANP and Log post-dialysis ANP
