Restricted mean survival time for overall survival over 60 months. Restricted mean survival time (RMST) is the average time-to-event over a fixed follow-up period (60 months) and corresponds to the area under the survival curve. Over 60 months, maintenance hemodialysis patients with galectin-3 > 8.65 ng/ml lived, on average, 46.75 months; this was 3.44 months shorter than those with galectin-3 ≤ 8.65 ng/ml, who lived, on average, 50.19 months
