Right (right picture) and left (left picture) common carotid artery (CCA): no plaques and a normal carotid intima media thickness of 0.44 mm for the right CCA and 0.50 mm for the left CCA (upper limit of normal for age 50–59 years: 0.71 mm) as evidence of the absence of atherosclerosis and arteriosclerosis.
