Likelihood of development of CKD3 according to age and genotype (A) The hazard function estimates the event rate at a given age, conditional on event-free survival to that age. The greatest and smallest estimated hazard of developing CKD3 was associated with non-PKD2 male hypertensive subjects and PKD2 female normotensive subjects. Although this is congruent with point estimates from a multivariate Cox proportional hazards model (Additional file 2: Table S2), these factors did not reach statistical significance in this cohort.
