Diagnostic Yield. (a) Diagnostic yield was evaluated for blood and urine tests based on the number of abnormal tests that affected AKI diagnosis or management. (b) Diagnostic yield was evaluated for radiology tests based on the number of abnormal tests that resulted in a procedural intervention. For renal ultrasonography, abnormalities other than hydronephrosis (e.g. atrophy, cortical thinning, and other chronic changes) were not included in this analysis, since interventions are not typically performed for these findings.
