Kidneys of 6 month old Ksp-Keap1 -/- mice were significantly bigger than age matched Keap1 f/f mice (14 ± 0.8 vs 11.2 ± 0.3 mm, p = 0.05). Although Kidneys of 3 month old Ksp-Keap1 -/- mice were smaller than 6 month old Ksp-Keap1 -/- mice the difference was not statistically significant (12.4 ± 0.6 vs 14 ± 0.8, ns).
