Mesangium and vessels are positive for vimentin, but approximately normally shaped tubules are negative for vimentin. Small groups of vimentin-positive tubules exhibiting mainly simplified morphology are observed in the vicinity of glomeruli (a). + indicate the distal tubule from a morphological aspect (a).
