  1. eGFRcys with body surface area (BSA) adjustment calculated by the cystatin C level using CKD-EPIcys, and eGFRcr-cys with BSA adjustment calculated by both the creatinine and cystatin C levels using CKD-EPIcr-cys with the coefficient modification using the Japanese eq. (0.908 ×) [11]. eGFRcr with BSA adjustment calculated by the creatinine level using the equation for the Japanese population [10]. eGFRcys, eGFRcr-cys, and eGFRcr are individualized without BSA adjustment. Single-nephron eGFRcys, eGFRcr-cys, and eGFRcr are calculated from the individualized eGFRcys, eGFRcr-cys, and eGFRcr, respectively
